Starting a Neighborhood or workplace pick-Up Site

Our site hosts create a vital link between Prairie Bluff Farm and local community members who appreciate high quality fresh food.

this is how it works:

  • A minimum of 10 dozen eggs per delivery is needed to form a site. If your site has 16 or more dozen per delivery a $30 credit is given on your personal order.

  • Your site is not a public site. In other words, Prairie Bluff Farm does not find and add people to your site. It is a collection of people (friends, neighbors, workmates, etc.) that you have invited to participate. We do not typically have direct contact with your members other than to answer questions about our farm or facilitate payments.

  • Deliveries to your site occur every two weeks. The day of the week depends on your particular location.

  • We do not “hold” eggs for future deliveries. Individual members would need to make other arrangements if they can’t pick up their order on a given week.

  • If we have eggs available, you are welcome to add members in the middle of the season. The cost would be prorated to the number of deliveries remaining. Please check with us before adding members.

  • Site hosts provide a cooler(s), placed in a convenient location for egg delivery and pick up. In the warm months ice packs are usually necessary.

  • Payments: Members can make direct payments to Prairie Bluff Farm either by check or through the Farm Store page on our website at www.prairieblufffarm.com. There is an item in the Farm Store page for Neighborhood/Workplace Group Member Payments.
